I wish it was more realistically done. The picture is otherwise ok but the detailing could have been better with a little shading and life to it.

It had to have taken hours to draw this, it is excellent. When I first saw it it made me think of a frog in a childrens book. But after reading your comments now I see the ostrich and not the frog. Excellent job.

Lucien, I think you did a great job with this, and certainly achieved the look you intended! I wanted to actually physically back up away from the picture when I first saw it, as he looked rather threatening and intense, LOL! Excellent job of concentrating on the eye, and getting the character of this bird captured so well! This one definitely gets the attention!
