I give you SIX, upon SIX. This is more excellent than I have words to proclaim. The richness of the diversity. The beauty of the Bright yellow, interspersed with the more mellow yellow, caught in the shadow of the petals. The stem, mostly in black, rising to the highlighted bend, to the bloom, expended, and thus, gone. The background, so appropriately blurred, is filled with a diverse array of colors. All of which, come together to create a most glorious sight.

Hi there. You surely came down to eye level with the subject and thereby bringing us into the image.
Did you know yellow is a very difficult colour to shoot as it tends to blow out? You captured this nicely with the back lighting showing detail of patterns, makes for an interesting study. Also showing us the entire flower with bud and base provides a nice story.
Your contrast is excellent and the colours natural and not overcooked, nor are they overblown. There is noise however, you can see that as salt and pepper throughout the image and is most likely due to large zoom. You can denoise through a filter Peg. Your background detracts from the flower with that rock vying for attention...it's visual weight is too strong.
The format, cropping is well considered by you and is pleasing.

hmmmnnnn Olga. I never have a problem when photographing my yellow flowers....occasionally w/ red ones but not yellow so that was a surprise to hear. The rock to the right of my flower is about the size of a small car and I actually liked the contrast between it and the diminutive flower. As for the 'noise'...went back and looked carefully and just don't see it....but OK. Anyway, I do thank you for the very thorough review.

An interesting photograph. The yellow viola is catching eye: bright, shining, and delightful. Smart framing by including the bud (maybe the old ?).
Well done and thanks for sharing.

This is very nice. I really like the back lighting. The composition is quite nice with the little buds there too. Very crisp focus with great natural color. I also like the way the light shows the textures in the petals.

It is a truly lovely little yellow Viola you have photographed here, and I like the idea of photographing it from behind. Especially since the light is shining through it in such a lovely way. It is also nice with buds included.
Your photo is of course also nice and sharp and it is indeed clear and well defined details to be seen in every part of the plant. Also the exposure is very good, but I would have liked an even softer background.
The photo is nicely cropped and the flower is really well placed within the frame. A truly lovely and well taken flower photo.

I like the nice clear image and the unusual shot of taking it behind the flower head. The yellow of the flower shows out well against the backdrop and is a very nice image.

Very interesting notes. I was at a restaurant years back and had flowers on my salad. This has a lot of details in it. The blurred background makes the flower pop at you.
