Wow another fabulous reflections photo. The Heron looks to be very intense on something. The balance with the bird and the wood causes the eye to move from left to right. I especially love the background colors. They remind me of an oil painting.

This is indeed a great photo for this contest Willie, and I especially think the splash is well captured. Indeed a good timing to get this shot. Then of course the reflection is really well captured and I also like the greed and red hues seen in the water. Probably a reflection from autumn trees.
Your photo is also nice and sharp and it is such clear and well defined details to be seen in the bird. Also the exposure is very good.
The cropping is perfect and the bird has got a very good placement within the frame. Indeed an all together well taken shot, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Well caught moment willie,don,t know what shutterspeed you used,maybe it needed to be a tad faster to get that water pin sharp,but other than that this could not have been easy to get this just right,so full marks for even getting this moment...brian
