I love this beautiful winter scene. The colors are perfect ---the pure white snow, the green of the trees, the gray of the sky. I live in Texas and just had a few snowflakes one day; I like atleast one significant snowfall in the winter, but it didn't happen. I thoroughly enjoyed taking in this beautiful scenery !

Well I am very pleased Iro to have satisfied your desire for at least "one significant snowfall in the winter" lol ...and if you get the urge for more snow I have other snow landscapes in my portfolio. Seriously though- that's a really nice review and I especially appreciate the extra sparkle you added to my piece. Thank you very much for checking it out and sharing a gold star!

Very lovely color control! The snow is a lovely shade of white and the sky has rainbow like colors through the trees. I think the evergreens are so nice covered in snow :) I know it's a bit too much snow so close to Spring - but it makes for a beautiful landscape!

As much as I hate snow I have to say you have made it look beautiful with this photograph. I am glad that we only got a fraction of that in Ohio. I like the tracks in the snow. Thanks for giving a snow hater a great picture of snow.

This fine shot and your notes indicate that you are experiencing a bit of a cruel blast of winter! The scene you present here looks like one on a Christmas card! Sharpness and exposure are fine. Well done!

...a 'cruel blast' lol....boy did you get THAT right Nik. I am soooo ready for spring but all my pretty garden beds are absolutely buried under snow. Do appreciate you checking out my snowy post...lol...and thank you for the wonderful review of it.

Yes, I know about gardening frustration caused by bad weather from my wife! Here in our part of the UK we have been blasted by wind and rain for the last 3/4 days now!

I suppose it makes us appreciate it more this way....when we can FINALLY get to it Nik.

Hang on in there, spring is just around the corner, even though it probably does not look like that in your location!

lol...thank you for the pep talk Nik. It helps...especially if I look outside.

Thanks for sharing this beautiful snowy scene for dry Missouri! The two evergreens the foreground (blue spruce?) are especially pretty. To emphasize the trail more I might have (with software) deleted the two twiggy bushes in front. The trail is really nice because it adds depth and interest. I hope you submit more snow photos for us!

The snow that fell here this past week was really light and fluffy lise (thank goodness or shoveling would have been awful) My dog (a large German Shepard) jumps in it and the only thing visible is her head and neck....lol...too funny. So much snow as a matter of fact that I did not even hear the coyotes howling at this last full moon. I think we're all more than ready for spring. Do appreciate you checking out my new post and thank so much for the wonderful review of it.

Deborah,
A beautiful picture of the snow covered trees on either side of your drive way under a heavy snow filled sky. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera Techniques & razor sharp focus with perfect white balance.
Yes we heard about Storm Stella & we are getting it's icy blast over here too BUT without the snow.
Susan

    Deborah,
Sadly you do not benefit from the Gulf Stream as we do! If it were not there our Climate would be like Alaska...as we are that far North.

This looks like a Christmas Card scene (yes we get the snow one's even though we have very hot Christmas). Glad you survived the blizzard, beyond imagination to get 3 feet of snow. :) Mary

I know Mary...lol....I have to stop taking these sort of shots....I'll NEVER be able to decide which should go on a Christmas card or be used for month of December on next year's calendar. Do appreciate you checking out my new post and thank you for the lovely review. Oh and yes....3 feet is a bit of a challenge...lol....I am sooo looking forward to spring.
