A beautiful picture of the view over to Omney Island Connemara with cottages & farm buildings on the left & what looks like a school building on the right both with rocky hillside in the background. Both the island & the Connemara shore strewn with rocks with sand between them. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

A beautiful Irish countryside scene. I really like the varying layers of landscape from front to back and the DOF is fabulous. So much to look at and enjoy. Terrific natural colors and lighting with superb detail. Excellent.

This is so very beautiful. If I had one place to choose for a trip, Ireland would be it. I have never been there but have read much about this magical land. This is a beautiful, clear and clean photograph. All colors are natural. And your light has that natural brightness that comes from the sky reflecting into water. I feel as if I am looking through a window.
How does one get to Connemara Island..a bridge, ferry? Thanks for sharing your travels. Excellent choice for a composition.

Very many thanks for kind review! Glad you enjoyed the photo!! The top part of the shot is Omey Island. The bottom part is the mainland of Ireland and is part of the region of Connemara. Yes, Ireland is a very beautiful country! We have been there many times over the years because it's easy for us living in northwest England. We normally sail to Dublin and then drive west to Connemara. Takes about 5/6 hours. Hope you get there eventually!
