Yes,their colorful facial features look strange to humans but they probably look very attractive and interesting to female Wild Turkeys.

I must admit that this is one ugly bird. This close up shows the wattles that are the most unattractive features in great detail and superb color. Looks like a contest winner to me. Best of luck in the voting.

i would say he has a worried look on him..wonder why? evil grin..lol..the clarity is great. the capture of the light is great. the angle of the shot of this turkey's facial is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer..tell him ill see him on christmas..wink wink..great job overall.

What a remarkable entry for this contest, I wish I had a six to give you. The clarity in this closeup is amazing and the detail of this bird is magnificent. At first I thought it was entered in the turkey contest but I didn't remember seeing it there.
