Comment from Life is but a dream.
Hi Mary,
I like this still life a lot and it makes me say "now why can't I do something like this".
I do have some comments:
- see how bright the refelction of the tomato is on the bottom? I think you could have brought that down a touch....by 10% a bit more or less.
-I would have liked to see everything sharp as a pin through and through
-look at the very bottom on our L hand side. See that patch of reflections? What is it a reflection of?
Just some observations. You deserve a perfect 5.

Cool,Mary Eileen!
Your nice looking photograph of these ingredients for a spaghetti dinner makes for a pleasantly enjoyable scene,my friend!
The dark background of the picture makes it look especially nice!
'Good Show'!

Delicious photograph
I could easily see displayed on the wall in a beautiful little Italian restaurant. It's so simple but striking with the placement of ingredients. Colors are just perfect.
Great work
Love it!!

What attracts my eye to this piece the most is the diminishing DOF. The foreground objects are tack sharp. The detail begins to lessen right about at the top surface of the tomato. That adds so much character and dare I say flavor to this wonderful still life.
Colors a strong and natural and compliment each other so very well.
I also like the tight cropping. That really goes along way to make the statement clear.
A very nice touch using a semi reflective surface.
A wonderful piece, thanks for sharing ... B-)) Bob
