Hi and thank you for sharing such a beautiful photo. My goodness, the Bible is certainly precious .. over 100 years old and still in tact.. You have presented your subject with much thought. the pages curled to represent a heart shape is most appealing and the golden cross positioned above adds a touch of warmth to the golden background.. The darkened corners frame the photo nicely and allow the eye to focus on the subject.. Beautifully presented and very best of luck in the contests. cheers mel

What a lovely shot of this very important book. My grandmother too would read her Bible everyday. I can see her in my mind setting down like clockwork in her rocking chair by the dresser first picking up the newspaper , then reading me a little story from one of my books. Then she would pick up her Bible and read what seemed to come with a true look of peace. Thank you for sharing and the memories.
