Cool!
That's a great looking scene that you've presented us with here,my friend!
It's got the kind of enjoyably Mysterious looking tone to it that I really like!
A very 'Good Show'!

Thank you. Humm I can't see the lean myself. I straightened it by looking at the distant crossbar in the foggy area.

Excellent focus from near to far. I like the converging lines and then the glowing light at the end. Nice B &W scene, well done.

Hi there what a fabulous entry for the contest Converging Lines. . This is awesome.. The Engineering of that bridge is amazing. So many varied structures used to give it strength and stability.. The giant steel posts in the foreground must bear lots of weight.. as they slope forward to help support the rest of the uprights and cross beams used in the design of this architecturally attractive rail bridge.. The rail tracks that run vertically toward the end of the bridge give excellent depth of field to the scene as they continue on to what seems like infinity by the fog lighting that appears to be at the other end of the track as far as the eye can see. Could almost be the lights from a distant train that are shining into the fog giving that glowing effect.. A very interesting addition to the scene. I really like the inclusion of the deciduous trees on either side of the bridge.. They really soften the view with the many twisted and arching fine branches and the more stable tree trunks that support them. The horizontal struts that line the track give an indication of the width of the bridge itself and they too, as they stretch into the background, add to the depth of field.. The earth on the banks of the river across which the track passes has good purpose and allows me to comprehend that the terrain is quite natural on the closest end of the visible track. Obviously the track is in a country area.. The river, though not visible due to the heavy fog, allows me to envisage how sturdy this bridge must be.. As for converging lines. what a perfect example .. Verticals, Horizontals. slanted, uprights horizontal supports, cross beams. and that doesn't even include the converging twiggy branches that make up the tree formation.. well done. what a great example you have found.. The photo offers a pleasing emotion, and has been a real pleasure to review. cheers and best of luck in the contest. mel

This is a lovely piece. Some great strong lines and interest pulling the viewer into the photo. Like the monochrome as it removes the distraction of colour and allow us to focus on the train tracks.
