this is gorgeous. It is well planned, juxtapositions could not be better - and the three subjects stand out perfectly yet in their own rights, the cliffs, the sky and the birds. The step like pattern is excellent. Superb. I love birds anyway..

I just love Puffins. My oldest son I call Puffin because he was born in Alaska and when he was a baby into toddler hood, he would eat so much that he would start flapping his little arms just like Puffins flap their wings after they had too much to eat and cannot get out of that cold water back onto the cliff. I have a collection of Puffins for art to figurines to things I have painted myself. This is absolutely wonderful. You did a great job with not only the three puffins but the cliff and sky as well. The cliff coloring is perfect and adding those little tufts of grass .... good idea. The one closest to us on the far right is my favorite and your best from beak to eyes to body to overall personality. You did a great job and I wish you the best at the voting booth. You got mine beat that is for certain. GOOD JOB.....BRAVO BRAVO....clap clap clap. Thanks for sharing...and thanks especially for getting off of your procrastination train (heehee)

These guys are such fun as they prance around on the rocky crags. You have captured their spirit and colors well in this drawing.
You can sense their playful attitude very well. I can see this hanging on a child's wall. Well drawn, good use of color and shape. Well done.

I really admire your use of colors and how well you mix and blend them to accentuate the details in the sky, the wings and the rocks. The puffins look realistic and the rocks are especially attractive.

Wow what a great subject to paint. Firstly the sky and rocks look amazing. Some great technique in the sky blending and I like the simplicity and detail of the rocks. The birds I think need a little more DOF. Perhaps more tones added. It is difficult as they fit well with the style of the whole piece and look good but when you added the middle bird moving - you add depth and the style needs to change a little in my opinion. Your colour choices are good throughout. Great overall piece that i'm Sure will live very well on the wall. Thanks very much for sharing.
