Pink is one of my favorite colors! Pretty in pink is the perfect title for this painting! The flow is very nice in there and the colors all mesh well.. I love the story too, what a nice gift and a happy belated to stringbean!!Very lovely to look at. Thank you for sharing!! :D

Thank you. Acrylics was the last application. I used liquid watercolors to create the depth in the background that I wanted. I then spritzed the watercolors with rubbing alcohol to create a blended and mottled effect you often see when viewing the interior of foliage. I also used a blending medium in the acrylics so that I could extend the drying time. This allowed me to add a color on top of a color and blend right on the canvas in the manner of wet on wet oils. It is fun and you do not have to wait so long for a piece to dry as you do when working in oils. Hope you try the technique on one of your wonderful creations.

Another for your book of gardens. This one is a summer garden, the colours are stronger, more is blooming, the air is filled with this and that from different blossoms. It is a lovely time, a lovely picture.Reminds me of Hungary on a visit.

If this were gift wrapping paper, I would buy the shop's entire stock! You have created such a lovely and interesting palette of pinks with so many shades. The few green leaves are just the right amount. I love everything about this photo and think you should try and sell it as a greeting card. I just had some Mother's Day cards printed at Walgreens and was very pleased with the quality. Shutterfly also does outstanding printing.
