I think this is a monarch caterpillar isn't it? Very pretty -- beautiful actually. This is a great close up. Which end is front?? The top side I imagine -- oops, no he is eating the leaf isn't he, on the bottom edge. He is eating upside down! Very clear and intriguing photo! Daphne Oberon

Thanks for your great review! Yes,it is a monarch caterpillar,it very nicely turned it?s head toward me while munching away on it?s milkweed leaf.
