I like this composition. Especially intriguing is how the light falls onto the branch with a golden shine. The diagonal position of the branch is pleasant. The fine rendered details of the catkins draw the eyes of the viewer. The catkins are beautifully emphasized by the changing light at the background. This creation is a picture of elegance and harmony.

This is such a lovely and interesting image, Annie. The details in the buds is really amazing. I can feel the softness of the goslings. The yellow bits of what I'm assuming are pollens really pop off of the page. The soft light in your background is the cherry on top. Such nice work.

Beautiful close-up of the willow catkins. They do look soft like gosling feathers. Wonderful color. The lighting and background gives it a soft look. Focus is good and lighting is excellent. Wonderful shot.

You have made something so simple and make it look so beautiful. The lighting shows off the yellow which is the most colorful part of the catkins. The background is the right background that makes the white color pop off the page. I am amazed every time I see your work.
