I think this is more than a pretty sunset Willie. It is just beautiful and spectacular with the strong golden glow above the tops of the trees, and lovely drifting clouds.
The silhouetted landscape is standing out sharp and well defined, and I also like how the colors of the sky are reflected in the lake. The exposure is very good.
The format you have cropped the photo into, and I think it is a fine balance in the composition. I think this a truly lovely and well taken photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

You captured the colors of this sunset very well! The yellows are exposed nicely. I think the reflection of the colors in the water are attractive too and look especially good with the dark contrast of the shoreline.
