I find these creatures interesting. I can see his underneath fur is dry. I saw on tv yesterday that the polar bear, when coming out of the sea swimming rolls in the snow TO DRY? There is no end to the ingenuity of nature. Love the way you have got the water moving around the swimming body. We don't know if it is a he or she.

He's adorable! Such a nice stop action shot. You captured the movement in the water so well. I can almost see him sliding through the water the way they do. Great pin sharp focus. Lovely natural colors. My only suggestion would be to leave a little more room on the right for this little guy to swim into. Nice work!

A very nice close up photo of this muskrat swimming in the pond.Focus is exceptionally sharp,good detailing in it's wet fur,nice catchlight in the eye,nice true to nature colors. The ripples it's causing in the water as it swims really add extra interest and texture to this image.We have muskrats i our pond,haven't seen them,but I discovered that we have two lodges made up of cattails,at least something found a use for them. A really great shot,hope i get to see mine soon!

Wow this picture is awesome! You got right there in a great close up . I have never seen a muskrat! you showed how adorably cute he is. I love the gentle ripples as he swims thru the pond. I suppose he could do some damage if you invaded his area!

I love this photo of this cute little muskrat. I love the waves he is creating while swimming. The colouring is very good. I would be very pleased if I could do a photo like this. I would change nothing on it.
