You're right Steve, no words needed for this beautiful sunset. Part of the sky looks like it is on fire. I know from experience that sunsets usually look better in person than any photo, so this must have been spectacular!

Thank you David. Yes this is one of those scenes that a photo simply does not do justice. There was absolute silence which added such a spiritual element as the scene unfolded. Just something about being there to watch and be a part of this. Thank you again David ~ Steve

Stunning colours of orange and yellow in this beautiful intense sunset in the sky and on the water. Great capture of the sun's ray just before it goes down behind the mountain.

This is really an awesome photograph. The filters you have applied make for a nice eye catching work. The orange colors reflecting off of the water is awesome. The sun peeking over the mountain provides a nice source of light and is eye catching. Job well done.

Great composition! Depth of field fully established all the way to the sun! I like the choice if filters used to enhance and clarify the gorgeous sunset, both in the sky and upon the water.

Some times words are not needed, and especially if you have a beautiful view like this. The sky is just stunning, but more than anything I really like beam of light from the setting sun. The colors from the sky is also nicely reflected in the shiny water.
The foreground silhouetted tree is standing out so sharp and well defined against all this glory, and the exposure is perfect.
The format and framing is perfect, and with the tree off to the right, it is a very good balance in the composition. Indeed a beautiful and well taken photo Steve, and with an excellent DOF.
