Very cool. Love the colors that you brought out. The angle of the shot of this sunset on the water with mountain skyline is great. Cool design in the sky view. The clarity is great. The Capture of the light is great. The image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Creative approach and great job overall

Very impressive mixed media photography. Love the swirly clouds in the sky and the intensity of the orange/yellow colour and light and shade. The boat in the distance is well placed on the sea just between the silhouetted rocks. Very well done!

I love that sky Steve! Excellent mixed media effects to give it that special look. I see you visited the planet Rockit, and snuck up behind two Rockitoids who were enjoying the sunset. I see the one on the left is looking admiringly at his lovely companion. Hope you didn't spoil the mood... ;) Love it!

Wow. Thank you David for your wonderful review and commentary.

Yes these two Rocketoids were enjoying the sunset And each other. It turns out the one on the left was a "Hardrock" and was trying to put the moves on the "Softrock". He was whispering sweet rock nothings when I showed up. To make a long story short it didn't go over too well. Ever been chased by a Big and Mad rolling Rockitoid? Not cool. This was a lucky shot as it was taken from over my shoulder just as I started running away. "iPhone don't fail me now!" He quickly caught me and, well it didn't end so good and left quite a few marks.

Now I am known as "RST" ~ "Rolling Stone Chump" on Rockit. Once again a laughing stock. Man the things I do just to get a shot.

I really appreciate your Grand review and rating David. It makes the scars feel a little bit better ~ Steve

I totally agree. Dali would see this sunset as a russet sky melting into the horizon. Very cool technique and the colors are just superb. I like the way the opening between the two boulders in the foreground lead the eye to the ship deep on the horizon.

BFF, this is just amazing!

Your Dali sunset is spectacular and I believe you are right. He may have seen it this way as well.

This makes you a very seasoned artist in your own right :)

Your colors are so beautifully flowing across the sky.
Well done BFF

This is wonderful! I think it's very nicely done and presented. The sky is textured and is definitely reminiscent of a Dali painting. It's amazing what can be done with some filters and alot of talent. Thanks for sharing.

This creation is provocative. It enlightens the imagination of the viewer. I like the contradiction of reality and imagination. I think this composition would work turned upside down as well. Indeed, Dali might have seen it this way and probably other artists as well. It seems inborn to artists and photographers to see the world their way. That alerts the viewer to look around and use their brains also. The colors are adequate for the thematic. The composition is balanced and well framed.

Thank you so much Cleo for your most insightful and artistic review and commentary. Your idea is intriguing concerning the image being oriented upside down. I will have to consider that option in future Abstract posts.
