Thanks for the introduction into the look and feel of a baby gull. In all my years near or on the water never had seen a baby close up. Great capture, sharp focus, clear and natural throughout.

Thank you so much Charlie! I really appreciate your wonderful review, they look very much like the eggs they hatch from. I thought they were homely at first but watching them move around and how vulnerable they were, I decided they are cute!

oh, it is lovely, all fluffy and softee, gorgeously sort of not pretty, but lovely, looking all put out. Love it. I like the background, as it gives me some idea of its domicile.

This guy is really cute! I don't think I've ever seen a baby gull. I think his plumage is adorable and those little pink legs and feet look great with lots of great detail showing.

Thank you so much ! At first I thought they were kind of homely, but after watching them move around on the marsh and seeing how vulnerable they are I decided that they are precious.

Cool,Pat!
That's a fine looking photograph and it shows off this young Avian creature's mottled 'natural camouflage' remarkably well!
A 'Good Show' of a picture,my friend! : )

The little body of the chick looks clumsy at those big legs. The pose is intriguing. The chick looks as if it does not know what to do next. The photo is well focused and exposed. The light is properly used to emphasize the bird. The chick, the reeds and the rock have remarkably refined details. The bird is well placed into the frame. The composition is balanced.

Well he sure has the right feet. A very nice shot; the setting is great and he obligingly climbed on that rock. A great composition with crisp details and beautiful colors.

OMG I never saw this kind of bird with a normal bird head and swimming feet
this is a very cute and attractive shot - standing on this rock in the wild you found for sure the perfect position and open view point to get him free standing
super clear and sharp with excellent contrast and lighting
I think the water with the wild weeds show the untouched nature giving this shot a special ambiance
a great composition, well balanced and well framed
great job

Pat,
A beautiful picture of this Hatchling Sea Gull standing on the rock on the edge of Potter Marsh It's body & head down covered it's wings covered on feathers but the flight feathers yet to appear. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
