Pat this is amazingly funny, as you know I do miniature Art trading cards and have just completed a number of various birds and I have one almost identical to this.
I love his fierce look. It's a great angle. Superbly clear focus and close up details. Very majestic shot.

Yes, he does look pretty fierce in your fine portrait composition.The eye and beak are very impressive. Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely done!

That's a 'Good Show' of an Eagle Portrait photograph ,my friend
It has a somewhat reptilian look on it's face which probably harks back to the ancient Dinosaurian ancestors of all the birds!
