Great capture, Pat, showing this young looking starling perched on a branch in your garden. Excellent lighting and focus showing the beauty of his feathers very well. Great composition. Suzanne

Love the colours of these birds, love how this bird had all of his feathers up, you got the very nice shot with the face, eyes looking. I never knew that the feathers on the tail are that colored, great show on your behalf, yes they don't like to stay too long

Pat, What amazing clarity that you have captured in this image of a black starling. The light and your camera skills is so good that it picks up on the green tinge in the breast and a the lovely yellow in the middle of the beak. So well captured and great timing with this pose!

Thank you so much Chris, I was so happy that this one stayed put rather then quickly fly off. I really appreciate your lovely review and I am honored by your six star rating!

I think this is a great 6star shot! Perfectly captured and adjusted. Great depth. Good contrast and balance. Composition is excellent! I like that bright emerald green color. Sharp and clear image! Great job erasing the distructive details. Neutral gray background creates a nice balance. Thanks for sharing Pat!

Well captured Pat although they are pests you have to love the color of these little birds - love the way he is fluffed up and turning his head "this is my good side, take this" excellent bokeh background and focus on bird.

Thank you so much Mary! I was happy to finally get a shot of this starling. They usually fly off as soon as they see or hear me!

What a beauty. Gorgeous detail as this Sterling appears to be waiting for you to make him a star. Beautiful detail. I like the subdued background which really puts the focus on him. Nicely framed and presented.

Such a great photo! The colours are nice, and I love the soft, simple background. His eye is so bright and focused. I really like the forked branch, too--It balances the photo.
