so much life in those eyes..You are like myself and get great enjoyment out of making the eyes as realistic as possible which does bring portraiture to life in my opinion.The presentation is indeed a beautiful representation of a young tot..its so easy to fall in love with such a piece of portraiture..well done

Linda you have exceptional tallent. This is a perfect portrait in graphite. I wish I could manage shading like this. The baby is a beauty and your artwork is showcased here . I love the whole concept of your positioning and interpretation. It is so realistic.

newborns are difficult to draw and you have done a really good job overall in your rendering. I do think there are two things tat detracts from the work however, the fingers on the hand looks off, especially the one by the thumb. also I think her left nostril when looking at it (the babies right) looks a little off to me as well. you did a great job on the mouth and overall shape of the face.

I teach art and product design, if something looks off to me, does not work, I try and give constructive critiques, that will help a artist or designer grow and improve. I do that on my own work as well. I state what is good and what needs to be corrected. I comment on what I see and what works and what doesn't.
