What a great shot of the Chicago skyline Nik. I think the pastel colors that are gently lite by the rising sun really makes this a stop and gaze photo.
The clouds have a somewhat ominous look to them which adds a nice bit of drama to the otherwise peaceful scene.

That's a really great skyline. As an aside, I'd like to know what lens you used. The color is very nice the way it reflects off the buildings. The sky is very nice, too. I also like the compression factor of the lens. Very nice.

Theres so much to see and do. I really like the monochromatic look in the coloring of this shot. Its eye appealing and shows just what a great city it is. Nice pic!

I is interesting hoe the high-rise buildings in the background catch the first rays of the sun while the waterfront still remains in the shadows. Your photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. Colors and light are realistic. The cityscape is well composed and framed.

Very moody shot with some nice sky. Looks misleading to the eye, as the rive bank looks to be sloping to the left, but when looking at the buildings, they appear straight. Well done on a good shot :-)
