Great photo of this interesting turtle! The nose really does resemble a pig's nose! It appears that you have captured him swimming which gives us a good look at his front flippers. Perfect sharpness and exposure. Very well done!

A great subject in a wonderful setting makes for a beautiful photograph. I love the subtle colors that stand out nicely from the dark surroundings. Excellent facial detail with a great smile.

I can see why the turtle got that name. The nose looks indeed like the nose of a pig.
Your photo is perfect focused and exposed and has good depth. The mixed media adjustments are expertly done. I assume that the shot was taken through the glass of the aquarium. You did excellent work. The turtle appears as if swimming in the wild. The glass is nowhere visible. The available light is well used. It amplifies the head and the flippers. The turtle is well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.
I appreciate your information about the species very much.

Interesting looking turtle. Lives up to its name.
I like the angle of the shot . I am thinking it is slightly out of focus, his face is not clean and crisp in its details. The negative space would have been better if it weren't so black. I am also thinking the crop on both sides is a little too tight.
Like I said, I like the angle, the perspective which adds depth the image.
Thank you for allowing me to comment on your photo.
Have a nice weekend,
Cheers,
Lucien

I like the ambiguity of the photo, so that we don't exactly know where it is until you mention it in the description. I like the contrast with the light bouncing off the bottom and the turtle, then that dark background. It really brings out the textures of the turtle.
