Most excellent capture of this hover fly. I love that even though the yellow is bright in this picture, the hoverfly is still standing out and you can see every detail. Excellent job!

This is a marvellous macro image of Resting Hoverfly I love the yellow and golden colours of the flowers in the background harmonising with the orange & black striped body. A very clear and detailed capture taken with superb skill. All the best in the contest.

Nice detail for hand held, the lighting is spot on though there seems to be a lot of grain. I like the composition as well as the colors. Using the teleconverters gave a great depth of field without distracting elements in the background. Nice job!

Ohhh macro shot here! The colors are vibrant and the image is nice and crisp. The details are so perfect,I can see the tiny hairs on the abdomen. Super cool.
