You have pictured these lovely Dahlias so well Jo, and the main flower has the most wonderful colors. The light is falling on the flowers in such a lovely way, and with the dark background it is standing out in an excellent way.

The photo is very sharp and it is indeed clear and well defined details to be seen in the petals of the flower, and the exposure is perfect.

I like the tight cropping and also the placement of the flower within the frame. A truly lovely and well taken flower photo, and with an excellent DOF. I wish you luck with the contest.

It's a beautiful photograph of one of my most favorite flowers, the dahlia is such an elegant flower. I like the angle of placement within the frame allowing a good look at its shape and structure.
This s well focused, the image is clear to view, exposure is correct for all colors , well composed and presented! Very best wishes to you in this contest!

This capture is exceptional. It has a flow, 3 blooms in a row with the centre in full display. Excellent focus especially from a distance. Fine details and colours are crisp and attractive. The dark background certain my works and brings the main subject forward.
