A beautiful flower and an eye catching presentation. I like this background and think the wet dahlia is well placed in the frame. The saturated colors of the flower goes well with the low key look.

Oh my goodness! The dahlia is one of my most favorite flowers! This purple dahlia is just stunning! Your title is perfect, the flower is well photographed with spot on focus, the image is clear, exposure is correct, the colors and tones throughout this image appear true and natural. The dahlia has a perfect placement within the frame and I love the purple tons in background and the green tones in the leaf, it calls attention to the bit of green near the center of the flower. Your use of mixed media is very effective to create such an elegant and well composed image. Very well presented! This is truly a pleasure to view!

The lighting is fascinating. The flower seems to glow. It emphasizes the flower perfectly. The vibrant purple accentuated with white at the petals and yellow at the center catches the attention of the viewer instantly.
Your photo is excellently focused, exposed and treated with mixed media. The still life is expertly composed. Your mixed media charming and elegant.
