I love it....it brings me back to my own childhood when I would pretend my toys were alive. Love the colors and happy faces on all. I will say though...there are some dolls and stuffed animals that are creepy and even as an adult I keep my eye on them to make sure they aren't coming alive....lol. Great entry in the contest...good luck!

I grew up in the day when it was exciting to see the circus.come to town..clowns never bothered.me and thought the one or 2 that would whine about being afraid of clowns was silly ...thru life I learned that is a phobia to some folks. Even had a few comments about the clown. Also puff the magic dragon has been around for decades...lol..thanks for the great review

My daughter co-sleeps with her little one who is 21 months and apparently now also has a number of stuffed toys keeping them company. Your work is totally real as all our grandkids have great imagination when it comes to toys. Great colors.

Great entry for the contest Mark. Excellent cartoon showing a child's fantasy with all his toys coming alive - great memories. Love all the colours you used in this and the different expressions you drew on the faces. Excellent composition. Good luck in the contest. Suzanne

This is indeed a fine entry into this contest Mark, because it is no end to a child's fantasy world. My grandson was for example convinced that we had tigers in the garden, LOL

I especially like the happy expression in the child's face, and also the fine selection of toys set against a black background behind. All done paying a very good attention to details, and in crisp and clear colors.

The format and framing is very good, and I actually like the way the child and his toys are filling the frame. I think this is a funny and well done drawing, and I wish you luck with the contest.

This is an interesting piece of art to me. I grew up having stories told to me that were created in the moment.
All these animals have stories as does the child. I have a friend who wants nothing to do with clowns. Art can be subjective and also objective. All the toys here are all sharing a laugh. The focus and clarity is good.
I could hold subject that clown with the odd look! But, this is what makes art exciting. Your details here and colors are great. I think there is purpose in these stuffed toys. They remind us to not forget the child within.

Wow MK. may be a child's fantasy but when I was a kid, these things scared me to death! LOL I could only handle animals and not clowns or dolls. (shudder)

But your picture is priceless as it does show how the child is smitten with these great friends of his.

I wish you the best in the contest.

And today our kids do not know how to use their imagination anymore because toys make noises or are all on batteries, we used to play with toys and make our own noise and make them move with our hands, playing is how we learn to create and how creation makes inventions.

A pretty good looking entry into the competition posted here! Your fine composition shows what many young kids fantasise about; having so many good dolls and toys!! Colours are bright and attractive. Well painted and good luck!
