Hi Mark, Jewel has been a friend of mine since way back when. I actually met her as a poet on FanStory! She was just telling me how hard it is for artists to get reviews here. I think it's ridiculous not to open up to all the artists here. I love this place because there are so many different artists of all sorts. My Journey here is to look at everything! I've not only enjoyed the journey but learned so many things! This place gives you a LOT of inspiration!
In reviewing photographs or art you don't have to know how someone created the image! All you have to know is if the image touches you in some way! That's how I review everything here!
I love this image! The humor is wonderful! I can so picture this sunflower bracing itself against the wind! You did a super job! I bet Jewel is going to LOVE THIS! I'm sure she loved your support too! :o) :o) :o) Nancy

Jewel has grown so much since I first knew I think she; be an excellent member regardless of our friendship. I think she would be incredibly honored to be a member of your team!!!
....... I don't know if you ever knew Donkeyoatey (Mike) but his work was pretty amazing too. He left the site a few years back though. I have an old email address of his if your interested but I don't know if he's changed it. Just an idea! SO proud I'm a member of your incredible Team! :o) Nancy

A beautiful rendition in Sharpie markers of Jewell's windblown Sunflower with it's face drawn in so the likes of us ingnoramuses can see it before our very eyes.... Though we could not see it before you drew it in. Love the fluttering eyelashes!
Cc tested bfrom your artist's eye for composition very skilful draftsmsnship beautiful choice blending & application of your colours in bringing this flower to life on the canvas..

This is really great,it definitely looks like it's a windy day,look at those petals fly. Must be a pretty brisk wind,as Sunflower looks like she/he is bracing themselves by the look on it's face. Nice bright colors,especially with the block background,must be some sun,as i see some shadow,giving your image depth. Very enjoyable and well presented creation!

This guy is fun! I like the details you give these flowers. They have huge personality, maybe even more than cheeze whiz (remember that commercial?) Nice colours and shadowing effect. The direction you gave the petals creates nice movement. Thanks for sharing

fun drawing of a windy sunflower, no a sunflower in the wind, sort of autumn weather, but summer storms maybe. We had one not long ago, it just kept lightening and thundering all evening but no massive wind. But climates are different in different locations.
