red eye? must have just either left the bar or just woke up!..i can see the bird trying to convince the police.."trust me office! i wasnt drinking! i was born with red eyes!" oh i could roll with this all day..lol. cool capture. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of this red eye bird is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

A beautiful stop action picture of the Spotted Towhee perched above your feeder his red eye along with the loose feathers hanging from his rear end catching my eye. while the light catches tge sparkle in his red eye & highlights his beautifully patterned & coloured plumage. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus. Good luck in the contest.

A beautiful stop action picture of the Spotted Towhee perched above your feeder his red eye along with the loose feathers hanging from his rear end catching my eye. while the light catches tge sparkle in his red eye & highlights his beautifully patterned & coloured plumage. This is an interesting capture of the Spotted Towhee.
Good close up of the details of the bird especially the red eye.
The head and neck seem to be blending with the back ground.
If it were a lighter the head of the bird would be more defined
against the background.
Overall good focus and clarity. Nice technique.

A very good looking nature image posted here into the competition! Would never have guessed that it was related to sparrows because here in the UK they do not look like yours by a long way. Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely done and good luck!

Now I realize that all of creation can be very entertaining, especially birds. I have several feeders and the Cardinals are my favorites to capture pictures of!
