I have really enjoyed seeing all the lovely autumn photos you have taken at the lake, and this one is no exception. It is so lovely the way the maple leaves are framing the tranquil scene, and I especially like the light the wonderful warm light in the background, the mist and the fine reflections in the shiny water.
In spite of the mist the photo is sharp and it is clear and well defined details to be seen in the foreground leaves. The exposure is spot on.
The photo is nicely cropped, and it is such a fine balance in the composition. I think this is a truly beautiful and well taken photo Fred, and with an excellent DOF.
