Great detail of this bald Eagle head. You did it really good! The ferocious look in the eye is incredible. Such a beautiful portrait of this bird. Thank you so much for sharing!

Yet another excellent photo of the eagle. The look is still there. I like the profile choice you made. The muted background really helps the eagle stand out in the frame. Are you using a long range lens to get these closeups?

Pat.. just wow!

YOu can really see how he/she is thinking very hard.

Love the stern look to it and how the head is down.

Great colors and perfect clarity as well.

He/She does look deep in thought. Very nice profile portrait of this beauty. Your focus is pin sharp. Colors are very natural. It looks like a dark or foggy day. I'd love to see you play with the background a little. Maybe a sky replacement to provide a more interesting canvas to present this lovely bird on. Just my creative mind going a little wonky. :). This really is a lovely shot of the bird.

Pat ... The eyes have it! Yes, yes, yes and the lip line definition is so good you can tell by the stains on its beak what it had for lunch. And the detail of the beak is so sharp, if you touch it you might cut yourself - Big deal!

What grabbed me by my bifocals is the cheek feathers. Yes, those long graceful strands of contrasting gossamer quill aligned for flight. I love the detail you got of these hard to get early feathers - well done. Their color is sign of what's to come.

It don't get better than this ... Bob

What a great portrait shot of this young eagle. It dos seem to be intent on something or as you say deep in thought.

Great placement in the frame Pat with a complimentary background. I like the focus on the eye.

Nice work Pat ~ Steve

I like the angle you used for this lovely shot of the juvenile bald Eagle, Pat, looking as if he's deep in thought as he sits on a post. Excellent camera techniques showing great clarity. The grey background sky shows him off perfectly. Great composition. Suzanne
