Very nice digital painting of a thistle flower. The colors of the flower, are bright and slightly transparent. The flower is floating in a sea of green. the inner parts are delicate and distinct. Very nicely done. Thank you for sharing. ray

Totally different thistle flower to any I have seen before and the yellow against the green background really pops - your artwork is done well with the texture of the petals showing up perfectly against the center of flower. Thanks for the explanation on how it was created. :)

I have never seen a yellow thistle before, and I almost thought you had got it wrong. But then I found it on the net. You have really pictured it well, and the green textured background is perfect.
The flower is done paying a good attention, but it is almost like something is missing. The yellow color is so bright, that I feel that the darker parts could have been even darker to get a better distinctions to the high lit yellows.
The format and framing is very good, and I like the centered position of the flower. I think this is an all together truly pretty and well done digital painting Cleo.
