Very nicely done, Nancy, our apple trees are just starting to bud out,so this gives me something to look forward to, though i don't think they will be exploding-lol! Really like the detailing on the unopened buds, the pink and white is perfectly set off by that gorgeous blue background; the explosion points add a lot of interest, plus they look cool, too!

HI LeeAnn, I don't have any apple blossoms out yet either. This shot was from last year. Most likely I'll see this year's crop in two to three weeks. I can't wait! This is an interesting presentation. The white flower serves as a centering piece which stabilizes the composition. This allows the light and dark pink buds to circle in rays, suggesting movement. The greenery in vaccinated, allows the pinks to stand out. Very nice! :)) Alex
