V is for Venice and V is for Victorious! I LOVE this photo. Let me count the reasons why. 1. The composition is excellent. The buildings and waterway lead you in and around the bend. 2) The image is crisp and clean. 3) The lighting is wonderful, we get to see the light and dark areas beautifully manifested. 4) It tells a story. A sad story of architectural and environmental decay but also a hopeful one. Someone still cares to display colorful flowers. 5) and perhaps, its greatest strength is the feeling it strongly evokes. I want to step into one of those boats and drift away. Bravo!

A good looking image posted here! Your fine and classical composition offers us an enjoyable view of that famous city. Colours, textures and tones are good. Exposure and sharpness are fine. Well done and good luck!
