I saw some on vacation, I'd really like to see them when they are blooming sometime! I like this trio of fruits that you have photographed, excellent focus allows us to even see the spines. Beautiful diagonal placement, the fruit is framed by the pads. And as usual, your enhancements have added additional beauty to an already gorgeous image

Such an invasive plant and so hard to get rid of once escaped into the environment. Your photo does show the texture and beauty of the plant nicely with natural colors. Like the softened background. :)

This is so beautiful. Were you able to pick any and get some yummy tea out of them? When I lived in New Mexico, these were everywhere. This interesting looking cactus makes a great subject for a plant portrait. They make me think of a singing desert trio in their pretty polka dotted dresses. :)

What a great macro shot of these fruiting bodies of a cactus. Great composition, great sharpness, wonderful leading lines. It is interesting how you go the lighting to just highlight the fruit, very good timing on your part. Well done and enjoyable.
