So cool that it's so old! Vintage pears. Incredible watercolor piece. Watercolor is so difficult to work with and this is amazing. The pears look almost gold/copper to me. Love their shine.

I always thought that pears were green that's why I had trouble trying to figure this one out. I love how it is framed and I like the background which makes this stand out. I wish you the best in the contest. JackJr.

Glena I love the colours on this and the arrangement. The back and right pears are excellent and real looking but I am having difficulty with the forefront pear it seems blurry and I wonder if its the camera image that is doing this. Also I see lines on the left which may be a table but again very faint and not clear. I didnt down a star because I think its the upload. Your artwork as ever is tallented and fine work.

Glena I love the colours on this and the arrangement. Glena. I had a difficult time differentiating the two pears on the left. I can tell you probably did a really good job painting this, but I'm not sure that you realize how blurry the images on the site I tried to pull it up on a different device, but it still looks the same. I hope you were able to correct this

Thank you for your kind review. Are you referring to the faint table or the slight surface they rest upon? Too, I just saw that I had an "extra copy" so it must have been less good than the first drawing, watercolor painting. Too, sometimes it doesn't load to this site as true as the original. Saving my pieces in a PNG format as a dear lady suggested has helped some. Thanks for your fine observations.

Thank you for reviewing, artist friend, and for your suggestion. The reference was faint as this is, but I believe I shall try to do as you suggest. It did not load onto the site as true as the original; the colors and highlights were different even though this is an "extra" watercolor painting.
