You have indeed pictured this Jay well Pat, and I especially like the way it was posing for your and how well you have captured the shine in its eye. The background is perfectly softened for the bird to stand out in an excellent way.
The focus is spot on and sharp showing truly clear and well defined details in the feathers of the bird, and the exposure is perfect.
I also like the way you have cropped the photo and the placement of the Jay off to the right. I think this is a truly lovely and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.
