A nice shot here. I enjoy the rich colors and the fine details in the rose.
I would crop it so that there is equal distance on all sides of the rose, but it isn't a huge deal breaker. I like how you nailed the exposure. Great job

Thank you for your time spent looking and then leaving me your thoughts on my photograph, it is appreciated. I am sorry to hear you do not like the off center composition, I did it because it helps focus the observers eye towards the rose, creates a little tension.

Hi Lucien, I think your shot is lovely. The rose is in perfect focus as well as the lighting. I know you wanted the background colors to push the rose forward, but the rose is so exquisite the background in some ways takes away from it. I would have loved to have seen the rose all by itself, but the shot is still spectacular! :o) Nancy
