This is a superb shot of this dragonfly; the focus and clarity of every detail is so clear. Shot against the green background without any distractions, just shows the exquisite detail of the dragonfly and particularly the wings. Well done.

Glad that this dragonfly was able to fly in spite of its broken wings. I love the clarity of lines and textures in its wings and body. The soft, natural, and green background really highlights your brownish subject and the limb, because of the contrasting colors. Great focus, lighting and angle.
Landscape framing is appropriate. An image with a story to tell.

Hi Nieves. I was amazed that this dragonfly was zipping around with such ease! Never guessed his wings were so worn and tattered. Glad you enjoyed ! Thanks for the great review My Friend! :o) Nancy

Hi Nancy, this is such a good close up of this tattered Dragonfly. I thought there was two of them for a second. Good focus, texture and clarity with a beautiful background bokeh. Deserves a six, well done and good luck in the contest :-)

HI Mark, I can see why you thought there were two dragonflies. LOL The stick the dragonfly landed on does look like the body of another!
Thanks for the wonderful review and believing this deserves a six star rating. I'm honored! Appreciate the the good luck wishes too! :o) Nancy
