This is done with such perfection, that the realism mimics' that of photography. The expressions in both the male and the dogs face, delivers creates a bond not only in the scene - but also with the viewer(s) admiring it. Your ability to reproduce such an image with such skill and professionalism is so admirable. Detail, shades, highlights, scale and again the level of realism is off the charts and deserving of more than a 6! A real contender for the contest.

MY nephew Jason lost his dog about 2 years ago. It really hurt! His brother had someone draw an image of Jason's dog as a surprise. It meant the world to him! I know how much this illustration will mean to the owner of the lost pet. I love how you are doing this in honor of your lost daughter. I'm sure the process of drawing helped you in the healing process/
The dog looks so sweet and loving. I think the love of your daughter came thru in this as well as the love between your daughter's friend and their dog. The image is very touching! Bless you for creating this image for someone else as well as a blessing for the loss of your daughter. Wish I could bless the image with a six! Good Luck in the Contest! :o) Helvi
