a beautiful picture the Dall sheep watching you from it's perch on rocky cliffs of Iron rich rocks. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Oh wow Pat what a great zoomed in photo of this Dall Sheep climbing on the cliffs and looking directly into the camera.
When we were in Alaska the Dall sheep were pointed out to us on tour...I couldn't see them this close as they were very high up.
I love the orange colour in the cliffs that brighten the scene. Great clarity in this image and well done!

Thank you very much Chris! I am so happy that you got to see them along the Seward Highway , I know they are usually way up high, sometimes they will come down right onto the highway

That stark white fur looks great against the contrasting foliage and red clay.
The time of day must have been perfect to have such great exposure for the shot! Yay!

Looks like the sheep spotted you trying to get a photo of it,guess this was a long lens in order not to disturb it even though it looks aware of you in this,nice one...Brian
