Evotive piece of work Maureen and although i am not religous can see this means alot to some people,and although i have said it before your charcoal drawings seem to bring things to lifeadding the crosses adds that bit extra to this one....Brian

This is a very intense thought-provoking incredible portrait in perfect timing for Easter and Good Friday. I like the way you portrayed Jesus on the cross in the silhouettes that are on his chest. It makes the viewer feel like Jesus is thinking about himself being strung up on that cross. I can see that a lot of thought went into this and a lot of talent.Thanks for sharing.

This is such a profound painting of Jesus Christ with the cross on his head and also the three crosses at the bottom added so much depth and drama in this scene. I can see the agony and pain in his facial features. Your shading really defines the facial features and show the emotions. Excellent drawing skills and shading. The vertical frame is appropriate. A piece with a story to tell. Great job, Maureen.
