What a super shot (not supper). Nice composition and placement of the subject, lots of room to move ahead. It does tell a story about nature that we need to understand.
The other thing that caught my attention and interest is the geometry of the shot. I see all kinds of triagles. The legs form triangles, the ears for triangles, and the ankle bone of the prey also forms a triangle. Well done and a pleasure viewing.

One thing is for sure, and two things is for certain is that this hyena is going to have a great lunch from the look of what is hanging out of his mouth. This is a very powerful visual that you presented here. These animals live in a world where if they don't eat, they starve they die. You are right it can be brutal, but it is the only way they can survive. Thank you for sharing.
