I love the design of this from the darker muted tones in the background to the very stand out beautiful Egret.

I love the background with lovely light and shadow and along with its texture, i like how you have composed this egret, nice and elegant looking, his body has lost details. But overall its just fantastic work. all the best for the contest.

This is so cool! The background effect is just amazing. Itself has an abstract expression ? great shadow work. The white bird surly pops in front of dark background ? great profile ? the line (flow) is so elegant. Great story telling overall!

This is so lovely. Your attention to the detail in the feathers is amazing! Nicely done with the background as I find it has enhanced the bird nicely. The use of the watercolours is excellent for this!

Great work MoonWillow, is that snow or moss dripping of the branches? A haunting peice of artistry, excellant water reflections, the background trees look like gravestones, rising out of an old cemetary with the Egret a symbol of eternal life, well done.

What a beautiful piece. The background texture you have created is very effective and adds alot to the swampy overall nature. How did you create the texture in the foreground? You did well to get such fine texture in the water and feathers in contrast to the other areas of the work. Thanks for sharing
