Very nice and peaceful place that looks like it has had a bit of wind with the bending of one palm. I might have backed up just a tad cleo to keep from clipping the dominant the dominant tree and including a slightly more of the water but that is a personal choice.

A bit of wind is a understatement. Occasionally we get hit by hurricanes. Half of the trees in this photo are gone with the wind by now. But Coconut are very fast growing palms.
I actually have a picture with the tree not clipped. Believe it or not it doesn't looks better. It is boring. It looks to ideal, to much like a postcard.

I like the lighting you've captured in this landscape and the focus is excellent. I like the angle you took this from too. A simple landscape but very effective. Very nice composition.

Thank you very much for your generous review. The light is a gift of nature. I took advantage of the haziness, a rear condition in our area.

Aren't the colours fantastic? Nice composition even with the trees in the middle of the photograph it still works well. Looks inviting to walk into. Very good, thanks for sharing this

Your welcome. Yes I know I would earn some critic for putting the trees in the middle but I needed the raggedy palm tree and the messy area on the right to have this wilderness look. Otherwise the scape looks to ideal as trimmed by humans.

What a great photo. I love the fact that the shot is not cluttered. A simple landmass, a few trees. The lighting is perfect. Very eye catching. Focus is great. Thank you.

Your lighting for this composition is truly fabulous! I like the presentation you have chosen for this. The palm trees make a good focal point and the image is presented well. I maybe would have shifted the angle just a wee bit to the left to have the palm trees more out of the centre of the frame and to have included a bit more water in the shot but that is just me!

Thank you for your great review. I usually try not to center my subjects but I wanted to include the raggedy palm tree and messy looking area on the right. Otherwise the scape looks to ideal as is trimmed by humans. I wanted that wilderness look.

I respect your descision for this and after I had sent you my review, I thought that maybe it had to do with the little palm at the back of the big ones.

Thank you Andie for your great review. Yes it is the natural color. It's just after sunrise on a hazy day.

Very nice capture here however, I don't think the part on the right serves any good purpose.I would have cropped this off and see how you liked the looks You have the large trees smack dab in the center of the photo.

Thank you for your generous review.
Usually I don't like to center things but it has an purpose here. If I crop the scape looks to ideal, as trimmed by human. That would be a wrong message fortunatelly the right side especially the ragady palm tree looks messy what makes it more natural wilderness looking. At least this was my intention. [I cropped on the top to soften the center look.]

I just made a suggestion as to what I might do. Always hard to tell what someone has already done or why they had to do this or that. The work is nice as is if you like it that way!

Thank you Ted, I appreciate any suggestion even if I disagree for some reason I learn from it. I just was thinking I own you a explanation. My intentions how I take a photo are may wrong.

Thanks Tev, I appreciate your generous review.
I understand your wish for the whole palm tree but the picture doesn't look better to me with the whole palm tree in it.[I have that shot]. It gets to ideal to postcard like.

ISO 3552?

Its such a beautifull photograph, i like these palm trees, and the soft and smooth sky, i would have left some more space on left hand side to show some more piece of sea. but overall, nice lighting and the clarity. Well done and all the best for the contest.
