What a beautiful design. I love how you were able to create the folds in the petals so well and get the variation in color so well blended. The glass that has a frosty look is wonderful. Every design element is amazing. Good combination of objects that are well painted. Love the background also. Well done. Good luck with the contest.

You have captured just about what every woman wants for valentines this year! Flowers, love and a romantic air! The initial impact of this piece is striking especially in the colour of the flowers. The gradients of colour is so soft and natural looking, they look like they would feel velvety if you could reach out and touch them. Your attention to details is really well done in the frosted look of the wine glass and the necklace-not only have you made it look like a real chain you even put the shape of the links in hearts-clever way of tying your whole theme together! Over all the thing that I find unique about this is that you have chosen to avoid doing the whole piece in that "blood red" that is so often associated with Valentine's Day-instead you opted to go for rich passionate colours -ones that would represent the romantic encounter we hope to have with our loved one. This was a good thing about your work-it will make it stand out in the contest for being imaginative and different! Good job here! Crystal
