I like the invitation to step into the garden. The gate itself looks like a little house, with the top being the roof line. Nice colors and interest. Thanks for sharing

Technically there is nothing wrong with this image. The focus,detail,clarity & texture are all fine.
The colors contain an interest mix, and there is a nice contrast between light and shade. The title is good and the open door reinforces the title with an clear invitation to the viewer.
The problem is that once the eye travels into the garden and accepts the invite, there is noting of great note to see, and leaves the image a bit flat and dull, sorry.
This rating does not count towards story rating or author rank.
The highest and the lowest rating are not included in calculations.

Good initial imapct to tell this story of the open gate to invite you in.Adds interest and creative.Good background with the palm trees.The half wall to each side adds to the view for a nice contrast with the front and back anchors the eye.Enjoyed.Thank you.

I agree, it is an interesting shot, I can see why you took it. Its almost like its inviting you in. I might have closed the gate just a touch more to see a little more of the texture and color. Thanks for sharing it.

Your composition is good. The gate is open, welcoming the viewer to look in. Some greenery in the foreground adds interest and balance.
There are some details that are a little over exposed by my taste. This might be addressed using Photoshop or perhaps a polorizer on your camera in a future shot.
