Nice BW capture Willie. Very calming scene (really is a lazy river). Lighting is even. Focus is sharp and DOF has kept image clear. Reflections are nice. Too bad there are no clouds to add a bit. Good luck in the contest and thanks for sharing.

i was in kentucky when i was a kid. i hitchiked there and spent time in lexington and i remember the great looking countryside there. this is a nice clear photo of a beautiful place. ty for sharing

I really like this photo. I tend to gravitate to black and whites.
Nice framing and composition. Exposure could possibly be bumped up slightly. You might also consider sharpening the photo. FAR tends to take considerable detail out of shots when they are posted.
