This is a really nice shot Willie. Technically pretty sound presentation. Color and clarity are very nice; Composition is good. The subtle shadow of his beak against his wing enhances this a good nature photo.

you are fortunate to have such a colourful variety of birds, local to you. i guess these lovely creatures inspired your own love of photography. i have learned much more about various species, just viewing your work and this is a classic example. such a sharp image and all the information about the bird can be seen.
