Crap did I miss the red competition again... bugger I had a great image for it but this one is awesome. Beautiful details on the bird. Great depth of field. I thought I saw some of these in Hawaii but I thought they had more white on them? Over all nice image, great job good luck!

First of all, great title. I think it adds a lot to your image as a whole. Secondly, the initial impact is strong because of the great detail you captured in the shot. He certainly did pose for you. The colors are striking. We don't have any birds quite as solidly bright as the cardinal. The background is a great contrats. Very nice image.
